, the head of the Turkmen Front, MP Arshad Al-Salihi, confirmed, on Monday, that the election law will provide an opportunity for fraud and creating crises.
Al-Salhi said in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of, that “the amendment of the current law for the Iraqi Parliament elections is a national necessity to prevent the recurrence of the crime of forgery and stealing the will of the voters, indicating that some influential blocs reject the proposal to amend the law in order to preserve their partisan interests.”
He stressed the need to amend the law and limit participation to the biometric card and follow the manual counting system in counting the votes and not to contract again with the Korean company involved in falsifying the results of the 2018 elections, warning that “the law in its current form will give the greatest opportunity to the parties that seek fraud and create crises.” Ended 29 / A 87
