On Thursday, the High Commission for Human Rights recalled that the international coalition forces bombed unarmed civilians and safe houses in Nineveh Governorate on March 17, 2017, targeting the New Mosul neighborhood, which resulted in the death and injury of more than (200) people and the destruction of dozens of homes .
The Commission said in a statement, that it "condemns this heinous massacre that affected the city of Mosul and the resulting destruction, killing, displacement, displacement and violation of the basic rights of the citizen to live in safety ."
The Commission called on the government and the international community to “intensify efforts to reconstruct the city of Mosul, redress the martyrs’ families, compensate them for the destruction of their property and their property, make reparation for harm, and achieve social justice in a way that enhances peaceful and societal coexistence and establishes the foundations of stability, safety and brotherhood in the city of Mosul, the city of peace and love. ”
