    Former MP Raad Al-Mas confirmed, on Friday, that there are 20,000 Iraqi children in the Syrian al-Hol camp, a disaster.
    Al-Mas said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, “For many months, we have been warning of the danger of the Syrian Al-Hol camp on Iraqi security and the possibility that it will turn into a gateway to evil that threatens internal security and stability, especially as it is close to the border strip and there is information about the recurrence of the terrorist infiltration file from time to time. It poses a real danger to the internal situation. "
    Al-Mas added, “The presence of 20,000 Iraqi children and boys in the Syrian Al-Hol camp, according to the assertion of the National Security Adviser Qassem Al-Araji, represents a disaster because they live in a camp that has been transformed into a school to spread extremist ideology in the presence of thousands of terrorist leaders and their families of different nationalities, pointing out the necessity of The Iraqi government has a role in explaining the danger of the camp to its security and stability, and the endeavor to decide its fate, because its survival poses a danger to all countries of the Middle East without exception.
    He pointed out that "all countries in the Middle East will not be immune from the evil of what is being planned in the Syrian horrors, calling for the need to further fortify the borders with Syria and prevent any infiltration attempts and deal with them firmly to ensure stability."
