The Ministry of Agriculture announced that the price of one ton of safflower is 900,000 dinars.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Agriculture, Hamid Al-Nayef, told Al-Iqtisad News that the price per ton of safflower is 900,000 dinars, indicating that the safflower crop is a high-oil crop that contributes to reducing desertification and has health and medical benefits in addition to being used as fodder. For animals.
He emphasized that one dunum produces between 500 -600 kg and this is one of the good things that support the farmer, pointing out that diversification of agriculture contributes to achieving other financial revenues.
Safflower is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the asteraceae family, known for its uses in food dye and has many medicinal benefits.
