    Yes Iraq: Baghdad

Today, Saturday, the Parliamentary Health and Environment Committee confirmed that there is no comprehensive ban during the days of Eid al-Adha, while warning of the seriousness of the epidemiological situation as a result of the continuous increase in the number of injuries.

Committee member Iktfa Al-Hasnawi said in a press statement, followed by “Yes Iraq”, that “the Ministry of Health has not yet taken any action or decision regarding the comprehensive curfew during the days of Eid, stressing that “the decision to ban is in the hands of the Supreme Committee for Health and Safety headed by Al-Kazemi, which It will be held next Tuesday to consider the measures that will be taken.”

Al-Hasnawi indicated, "The Ministry of Health stressed the need to prevent gatherings and the establishment of mourning and wedding councils in the coming days, after the increase in the number of injuries and deaths during the past weeks," calling on "everyone to adhere to the conditions of safety, distance and vaccinations."

And she pointed out that "the decision to close the caravan hospitals in all Iraqi provinces after the fire accidents, contributed to increasing the responsibility on the medical authorities, as well as the momentum and the lack of beds for those infected with Corona after the injuries rose significantly."
