    {Political: Al Furat News} The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Mr. Al-Hakim, discussed in Erbil with the head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Massoud Barzani, the developments of the political and security scene and the results of the recent elections and the confusion and imbalance that led to it.
    The two sides recalled their common history and with the Kurdish leaders in the face of dictatorship and building the new Iraq.
    A statement from the office of the head of the State Forces Alliance indicated that the two sides called for reassurance of the parties objecting to the results to restore transparency and confidence in the democratic system, and we stressed with them the calm and dialogue to get out of the current crisis and avoid political blockage.
    Mr. Al-Hakim stressed "the importance of conceding to Iraq and the public interest, and the importance of forming a government capable of achieving the aspirations of the Iraqi people in services and job opportunities and ending outstanding issues and the stage of previous sessions."
    He said, "The stability of Iraq depends on the leaders' culture of concession to Iraq and the interest of its people," noting that "the national initiative that we presented represents our vision for a solution to the current crisis without asking for a role in the next government."
    Politically, Mr. Al-Hakim emphasized respect for Iraq's sovereignty and stopping foreign interference and aggression on its lands, and we said that the strength of Baghdad is the strength of Erbil and vice versa, and this is what previous experiences have proven.
    He expressed his thanks for the warm reception and generous hospitality, and wished the Kurdish people further progress and prosperity and the rest of the peoples of the Iraqi nation.
