Yahya Rasoul, Al-Kazemi’s military spokesman, said in a statement that NRT Arabic received a copy of it (December 3, 2021), that “the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces followed with great interest the cowardly attack carried out by ISIS terrorist gangs on the village of Khadrjija near the Qarachogh Mountains, which claimed the lives of a number of Civilians and Peshmerga forces are between a martyr and a wounded person.
He added, "While the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces mourns these righteous martyrs and condolences to their families and loved ones about this incident, his Excellency confirms that this treacherous attack will not pass without the just retribution of the terrorist criminals who committed this cowardly act."
The Commander-in-Chief stressed that "the Peshmerga forces are part of the national defense system and work side by side with their brothers in our valiant armed forces to secure cities and regions.
His Excellency stressed that the terrorist gangs, after suffering major defeats in various regions of the country, are trying, in one way or another, to carry out treacherous acts, after they were unable to confront our security forces.
Al-Kazemi also stressed "the need to close ranks and not to underestimate or underestimate the pockets of ISIS terrorist gangs."
