    [size=45]The Iraqi Communist Party held its eleventh national conference on November 24-28, 2021 in Baghdad, under the slogan “comprehensive change: a democratic civil state and social justice.”[/size]
    [size=45]The conference opened with a public session amid an official and popular presence, in which words and greetings were delivered from the Presidency of the Republic, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Presidency of the Supreme Judicial Council, and many messages of greetings from parties, personalities and civil society organizations, as well as from communist and leftist parties in Arab countries and the world.[/size]
    [size=45]In his speech at the session, Comrade Raed Fahmy, Secretary of the Central Committee of the party, indicated that the convening of the eleventh congress is an extension of the traditions of our party since its founding in March 1934, and a continuation of its quest for the regularity of holding its congresses, so that each of them is an additional station for renewal, and for the development of internal democracy, after examination.     [size=45]Comrade Kawa Mahmoud delivered a speech at the opening session of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Communist Party, in which he saluted the convening of the party's eleventh national congress, which he said was a school of struggle for the Iraqi revolutionaries.[/size]
    [size=45]In the following conference sessions, the legitimacy of the conference was confirmed, after submitting the accreditation report and electing the conference’s management bodies. Then, the delegates and delegates who represented the party’s organizations at home and abroad began their work, distributed in workshops to discuss the projects of the party’s program, its internal system, and the achievement report.[/size]
    [size=45]After extensive discussions in the corridors of the workshops for these projects, summaries of the discussions were presented to the plenary sessions of the conference, where they were all circulated and approved with the notes and proposed amendments thereto. The financial report, and after that the political report, were discussed and approved, which enjoyed extensive discussions in plenary sessions dedicated to this purpose.[/size]
    [size=45]The conference also approved a set of decisions and recommendations, and sent many letters of appreciation to the presidencies of the republic, the Council of Ministers and the Supreme Judicial Council, and to the various parties, organizations, institutions and personalities who attended the opening session, or contributed to the provision of assistance to the success of the work of the conference.[/size]
    [size=45]The conference sent a special message of greetings to Comrade Karim Ahmed, who was keen to attend the conference despite his difficult health conditions, and presented the personal watch of the martyred party founder Yusef Salman Yousef (Fahd) as a secretariat to the two conferences.[/size]
    [size=45]On the last day of the conference, nominations for membership of the new Central Committee and the Central Oversight Committee were opened. With enthusiasm and a high sense of responsibility, dozens of comrades and comrades volunteered to work in[/size]
    [size=45]The two committees. After approving the report of the Nomination and Appeals Committee, the Congress elected, by individual nomination and secret voting, the members of the new Central Committee and the Central Oversight Committee.[/size]
    [size=45]It is noteworthy that official representatives of the Political Parties Affairs Department attended the session in which the conference completed its work according to the Political Parties Law.[/size]
    [size=45]In an atmosphere of joy and communist enthusiasm, the conference ended its work, expressing the determination of the Iraqi communists to achieve its slogan for comprehensive change on the path to establishing a civil state and social justice.[/size]
    [size=45]The Central Committee, in its new form, held its first meeting later, in which it elected comrade Raed Fahmy as its secretary, and comrade Bassam Mohi as his deputy, as well as its political office.[/size]
