Economist: The region's failure to disclose its revenues is a major obstacle to the completion of the final accounts

{Economic: Al Furat News} An economic expert considered the Kurdistan region's non-disclosure of its revenues a "big obstacle" in completing the final accounts.
Nabil Al-Marsoumi told {Euphrates News}: "To unify the work of the final accounts, the regional government must disclose its accounts and oil and non-oil revenues from outlets and others, and that this constitutes a major obstacle to the work of those accounts."
He added that "the Office of Financial Supervision is not much concerned with the final accounts, as the situation is related to the economic structure and the applicable contexts."
And he indicated that "the Office of Financial Supervision refers to these matters in reports, but it is not being implemented despite the regulatory authorities and its professional work."
Al-Marsoumi pointed out that "the machines of corruption are great, whether in contracts, budget execution, or others."
