a member of the State of Law coalition, Wael Al-Rikabi, revealed, on Thursday, the axes of the meeting of the leaders of the coordination framework at the home of coalition leader Nuri al-Maliki yesterday evening.
Al-Rikabi said in an interview with "Mawazine News", that "the leaders of the framework briefed al-Maliki on the outcomes of their meeting with the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr in al-Hanana, and confirmed that the meeting was positive, and discussions and understandings are still open."
Al-Rikabi added, "We do not rule out that the largest bloc will leave the coordination framework, but we want the Sadrist movement to join the coordination framework for the functioning of government work and unify the ranks."
A delegation from the coordinating framework included the head of the Al-Fateh Alliance Hadi Al-Amiri, the Secretary-General of the Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq movement, Qais Khazali, and the head of the Ataa Faleh Al-Fayyad movement met, yesterday, Wednesday, with the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada Al-Sadr, in Al-Hanana.
After the meeting, Hadi Al-Amiri issued a statement in which he said: "The meeting was positive and responsible and based on the strong interest of the state and success in the next stage. The discussion of guarantees of success in building the state will be completed, and in the coming days we will have a return to Najaf again." Ended 29/N33
