Blackshart stresses to Al-Kazemi the importance of adopting dialogue as a way to resolve differences
Shafaq News/ The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jenin Plaschaert, stressed on Saturday to Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi the importance of adopting dialogue as a way to resolve differences.
During the meeting, according to a statement by Al-Kazemi's office received by Shafaq News Agency, "the overall political and security situation and its developments were discussed, as well as the progress of cooperation and coordination between Iraq and the United Nations, and ways to support the programs undertaken by the international organization in Iraq."
During the meeting, Al-Kazemi reiterated, "Iraq's keenness to consolidate its regional and international relations to ensure the strengthening of security and stability in Iraq and the region, and to establish the causes of sustainable development for the benefit of the Iraqi people and the brotherly and friendly peace-loving peoples." For her part, Plasschaert confirmed, "the position of the international community in support of Iraq regarding the current challenges, and the importance of pursuing dialogue as a way to resolve differences."
