    Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi confirmed working to resolve matters through dialogue to spare bloodshed, while Patriarch Cardinal Luis Raphael Sako praised Al-Kazemi's method and its adoption of dialogue.
    The Patriarchate's media said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "His Beatitude Cardinal Louis Raphael Sako met yesterday evening, Sunday, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, at the Government Palace in the Green Zone in Baghdad, accompanied by Associate Bishop Robert Said Gerges."
    Al-Kazemi confirmed the message that Sako sent to him on June 2, 2021, that it “accurately expressed the complex situation,” noting that he was “working to resolve matters rationally and through dialogue, especially to prevent bloodshed.”
    Sako thanked the Prime Minister for receiving him, and praised his calm manner and dialogue.
    He stated that "
    Sako explained, "The situation of the marginalized Christian component, which suffers from unemployment and the absence of development projects in the towns of the Nineveh Plains."
