    Today, Friday, the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities confirmed the completion of the submission of 85% of the results of soil investigations, carried out by the National Center for Construction Laboratories of the Ministry, for a project to establish (1,000 schools), on a national initiative to contribute to supporting national projects and the success of the requirements of this project.
    The media center in the ministry stated, in a statement received by the agency, "Information", that "the results of the previously completed soil investigations, which are in the same areas designated for the construction of schools or adjacent to them, were presented to save time, effort and money, as the percentage of sites that have been utilized without the need for Soil investigations work about 85% of the total identified sites,” noting that “work is continuing to complete the rest of the soil investigations for the rest of the sites, which amount to 15% of the total number.”
    The statement indicated that "it was negotiated and agreed to conduct laboratory tests for construction materials for the school project, exclusively at the National Center for Construction Laboratories, where 16 laboratories will be opened, with a central field laboratory for each governorate except for the Kurdistan region, as well as two laboratories in Karkh and Rusafa in Baghdad." finished/25
