The Minister of Health, Dr. Hani Musa Al-Aqabi, said that the medical and health staff were able to mitigate the effects of the Corona crisis. On the sidelines of a joint workshop with the World Health Organization to launch a report on the review of universal health coverage and emergency preparedness, Al-Uqabi explained that "the ministry has worked since the beginning of the pandemic to spread health awareness and implement national vaccination campaigns in cooperation with international organizations, including the World Health Organization."
He added that "the workshop, which was held in cooperation with the World Health Organization and five countries, witnessed a comprehensive review of aspects of health awareness and preparations for disaster, pandemic and emergency preparedness."
