     Abu Ghraib dairy factories, affiliated to the General Company for Food Products, one of the companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, announced on Wednesday their endeavor to operate all their factories and increase their production capacities to supply the local market with its various products such as milk, cheese, cream, butter, soft cheese and others.
    The director of Abu Ghraib dairy factories, Abdul Rahim Ayed Abdullah, said in a statement issued by the ministry that “Abu Ghraib dairy consists of three main factories, including Al-Rafidain, Tigris and Euphrates factories, which contain modern production lines and machines that work with electronic control systems (PLC) and sterilization (UHT) high. Quality for the production of various dairy products that are subject to standardization and quality control tests, represented by chemical tests and bacteriological tests, in addition to the continuous examinations of the Ministry of Health for samples of the products.
    He stressed the importance of supporting the national product and providing the necessary protection through the application of the Products Protection Law to develop and expand the production process and increase capacities, calling on citizens and all state institutions to purchase Abu Ghraib products because they are free of preservatives.
    Meanwhile, the director of the Rafidain factory, Muhammad Adi, and the director of the Dijla factory, Kazem Abdullah, said that "the factories own the latest international machines, and work has been done to increase the production lines for the production of processed cheese, yoghurt, cream, shanina and butter in the Rafidain factory, while the Dijla factory produces all kinds of cooked cheeses." Emphasizing the endeavor to produce triangles and rectangle cheese during the coming period once the remaining production lines are completed.
    Iraq is suffering from the high prices of goods and foodstuffs in light of the war between Russia and Ukraine, and the federal government has taken a package of decisions to confront this crisis that afflicts the country and the world at large.
