    Economy News - Baghdad
The Ministry of Finance and Economy in the Kurdistan Regional Government announced today, Tuesday, the registration of 500,000 salaries within the “My Account” banking system, which is currently in use to pay employees’ salaries.
The ministry said in a statement received by "Al-Eqtisad News", "The accounting system has so far recorded 500,000 salaries for Kurdistan employees, as part of a comprehensive plan aimed at recording an additional one million salaries in bank accounts by 2025."
The ministry added that "this expansion includes deploying about 1,000 ATMs in all areas of the region to improve access to financial services."
She explained that "the accounting system aims to enhance transparency and efficiency of salary management by digitizing financial operations," indicating that "the new ATMs will contribute to facilitating the processes of withdrawing and depositing money, which provides greater ease for citizens in daily transactions."
