, Minister of Interior of the Kurdistan Region, Reber Ahmed, confirmed today, Thursday, that "the unity of Iraq cannot be divided, and an international investigation must be conducted into the incident."
Ahmed said, in a statement carried by the official agency and seen by Mawazine News, that "hosting me in the Federal House of Representatives is evidence of the understanding of the center and the region in facing the challenges facing any governorate in the country."
He added, "The bombing of Erbil governorate targeted a civilian place, and there were no unwanted security elements," noting that "during the visits, we found that the site that was targeted belongs to a known citizen."
He pointed out that "during the hosting, we called for the opening of a comprehensive investigation with the participation of Iraqi, Arab and international nations, as well as Iran."
