Today, Wednesday, the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hakim Al-Zamili, announced the hosting of the Kurdistan Region’s Interior Minister and the Iranian ambassador in Baghdad regarding the missile attack on Erbil, while noting that the fact-finding committee collected some data about the bombing.
Al-Zamili told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The House of Representatives will have a position on the missile bombing of Erbil," noting that "the fact-finding committee visited the Kurdistan region and collected some data."
He added that "the House of Representatives will host the Minister of Interior of the Kurdistan Region to see the facts of the incident and we asked him to bring a detailed report," noting that "the session will be tomorrow or after in the House of Representatives in the presence of the heads of blocs and representatives."
He added that "the fact-finding committee will discuss the matter to produce a detailed report," explaining that "no information can be given before coming out with a report."
Al-Zamili stressed "not to allow a violation of Iraq's sovereignty," pointing out that "in the event that there is information confirming the presence of Israelis or others, it is done through the exchange of information. .
He stressed that "any breach is unacceptable, and the Iranian ambassador will be hosted in Iraq, and more information will be given on the ground to come up with a real outcome through the people's representatives."
