[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / - The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, stressed the need for continued support for the international coalition and its tasks in Iraq.
And the region's presidency stated in a statement: “Barzani met today, in the presence of his deputy Sheikh Jaafar Sheikh Mustafa and senior officials of the Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs, the commander of the international coalition forces in Iraq and Syria, General Matthew MacFarlane, And during the meeting they discussed the steps of the reform process and the unification of military forces, and the latest developments in the war against terrorism and the coordination between the Iraqi army and the Peshmerga forces in the face of terrorism. Both sides agreed that ISIS still poses a real threat to security and stability in Iraq and Syria. In this regard, the importance of continuing support for the international coalition and its tasks in Iraq and the Kurdistan region, and cooperation and coordination between the Iraqi army and the Peshmerga in confronting terrorism and the final elimination of ISIS, was emphasized.
Nechirvan Barzani expressed his thanks to America and other friendly countries for their assistance and support for the Iraqi army and Peshmerga forces.
The meeting discussed the relations of Erbil and Baghdad, the conditions of the Al-Hol camp in Syria, and the latest developments in the region./End 7[/rtl]
