    The head of the Bayrak al-Khair bloc, former MP Muhammad al-Khalidi, confirmed, on Tuesday, that any government will collapse within a period of six months without a mixture of political consensus.
    Al-Khalidi said in an interview with Al-Information, that “the principle of political consensus is an Iraqi mixture that ruled the scene after 2003, and it is difficult to overcome it between the political parties,” noting that “the formation of the government will be prolonged, and this is what we expected after the announcement of the results of the last elections.”
    Al-Khalidi added, "Any government that is formed without consensus will be weak and collapse within 6 months, and this is a reality whose repercussions and danger must be dealt with at the same time in a scene that suffers from successive crises," stressing that "there is a political blockage and stubbornness between forces and if there is no consensus between the framework And the Sadrist movement on the general scene, the situation will be difficult and we will need not a short time to form the next government.”
    He pointed out that "the Iraqi scene is governed by consensus, and without it, a weak government will be born," noting "the need for convergence of views in a path that leads to solving problems and pushing for the formation of a government as soon as possible, especially since the country suffers from major crises and challenges, especially the economic and security aspect."
