Iran is unable to provide any evidence of the existence of a Mossad headquarters in Erbil during its meeting with the Iraqi delegation

A source from the Iraqi government delegation that visited Iran recently confirmed that Iranian officials did not have any evidence to prove the existence of an Israeli (Mossad) headquarters in Erbil, to present it to the Iraqi delegation.
On April 13, a delegation from the Iraqi government, consisting of Dr. Fouad Hussein, the Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Qassem Al-Araji, the Iraqi National Security Adviser, and a number of officials and advisers of the Ministry of Defense and the Iraqi intelligence establishment, the Islamic Republic of Iran. He met with Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, and Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdul-Hayan.
Regarding the visit, a source within the Iraqi delegation said that the visit was dedicated to reviewing the evidence and documents that Iran has long claimed to possess about the presence of an Israeli intelligence headquarters (Mossad) in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, for which it allegedly launched a missile attack on Erbil.
The source stated that the Iraqi delegation demanded the Iranians insistently to provide them with any document they had about the presence of a Mossad headquarters in Erbil, adding that “the Iranian side did not have any document or evidence of the presence of a Mossad headquarters in Erbil, so they did not present any evidence to the Iraqi delegation, and the missile attack.” It was nothing but an attack on the territory of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and an injustice against the people of the region.”
Several sites west of the city of Erbil were subjected to an Iranian missile attack on the evening of March 13, 2022, and later the Iranians claimed that they had targeted the headquarters of the Israeli Mossad in Erbil, but the Kurdistan Regional Government officially denied the existence of any Israeli center in Erbil, and that the targeted sites They were civilian areas, and the (Kurdistan 24) channel building was damaged by the bombing.
The Kurdistan Regional Government also called on the Iraqi government, the Iranian Republic and the international community to visit the targeted sites and conduct an investigation into Iranian allegations in this regard.
