The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced, on Saturday, that it is studying restructuring the reality of social insurance granted to poor families to improve their reality, while seeking to secure financial allocations for examining families nominated for inclusion in Baghdad and the provinces.
The head of the Social Protection Authority in the ministry, Huda Sajjad, said in a statement seen by "The Information", that "restructuring the reality of social insurance granted to poor families to improve their reality is the most important thing that will be addressed during the coming period by the ministry, as well as securing the financial allocation to search for families nominated for inclusion. In addition to the families that were field-researched earlier and included in the subsidy after receiving the results of the Ministry of Planning because they live below the poverty line.”
Sajjad added, "Thousands of families have been discussed, and so far they have not been granted subsidy salaries due to the lack of sufficient financial allocation for them."
She explained, "The competent committees in the authority are working on resolving the file of suspensions in general, and the suspensions for each family covered by the subsidy and owns a wheel," noting "the importance of social research to diagnose de facto families and the need to secure financial support for new social researchers." finished/25
