The Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq inaugurates Al-Rashad House for the Elderly

Today, Saturday, the Governor of the Central Bank, Mustafa Ghaleb, inaugurated the Al-Rashad House for the Elderly, after building a new building by the “Tamkeen” Community Initiatives Fund, which is supervised by the Central Bank and the Association of Private Banks.
The Engineering Department of the "Tamkeen" Fund rehabilitated Dar Al-Rashad and added a new building that accommodates 100 people, in order to increase the capacity of the house to accommodate more than 200 people.
In his speech during the opening, Central Bank Governor Mostafa Ghaleb said, "The Tamkeen Fund has a deep vision to support the community, and part of this vision is dedicated to the elderly, to improve their quality of life and give them the ideal environment to practice their activities and social life."
He added, "We in the (Tamkeen) Fund cannot forget this blessed color, which was presented to Iraq, thanks and appreciative efforts, over the past period, in building institutions such as education, health, and others."
The Governor of the Central Bank addressed the beneficiaries of the rehabilitation of Dar Al-Rashad, saying, "The banking system is behind the financing process by donating this project and other projects carried out by the Community Initiatives Fund, and we will continue to support the community and productive initiatives."
