reminded the Russian Foreign Ministry of the losses incurred by countries that fell victims of the military adventures of Washington and its allies in NATO, noting that the material part of these losses amounted to hundreds of billions of dollars.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova wrote on Telegram: “The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has prepared an informative informational material on the consequences of the military adventures of the United States and its European allies over the past two decades, and published it on the website of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In it, with reference to reliable sources, material damage is calculated. suffered by Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya and Syria by Washington and its henchmen.
"Without pretending to be a perfect account of the losses incurred, even the most inaccurate calculations show that we are talking about trillions of dollars," she added.
The report of the Russian Foreign Ministry stated: “The US military machine has brought untold suffering to the Middle East and North Africa,” as more than 205,000 civilians were killed as a result of the invasion of Iraq by the United States and its allies.
The report also attached a picture of the city of Mosul in northern Iraq, which was leveled to the ground due to the American bombing.
Regarding Syria, the report referred to the bombing of the United States and NATO, which led to the complete destruction of the city of Raqqa, as 11 thousand buildings were destroyed, and 80 percent of the city became uninhabitable.
The report stressed that "despite the brutal destruction they inflicted, the Americans continue to deny aid, and in every possible way prevent the organization of such action at the international level."
As a result of the US and NATO invasion of Libya, the country's GDP losses in 2011-2015 were estimated at $216 billion.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said that the "price of the Libyan conflict" by 2025 will reach a trillion dollars.
The report of the Russian Foreign Ministry concluded that "in the past twenty years alone, only the victims of attacks by Western countries have incurred material damages worth no less than 1.5 trillion US dollars."
The report pointed out that "Washington and its allies have not yet found the courage to take responsibility for their criminal actions and compensate the world for everything they did."
