Washington and the European Union affirm their support for achieving "good governance" in Iraq
Shafaq News/ The ambassadors of the United States of America and the European Union to Baghdad affirmed on Monday their countries' support for achieving democracy and good governance in Iraq.
This came during a meeting between the American ambassador, Elena Romanowski, and the European Union ambassador to Iraq, Phil Vargola, according to a statement from the American embassy, which was received by Shafak News Agency.
The statement indicated that "the two sides discussed supporting the Iraqi people in their quest to achieve democracy, good governance, stability, economic growth and increased security, and affirmed their commitment to helping Iraq."
Today, Monday, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged all Iraqis to "dialogue", stressing that the stability and stability of Iraq is very important to Iran.
The Iraqi political scene is going through a crisis situation and an unprecedented deadlock in the history of Iraq, as more than 300 days have passed since the early elections without being able to form a new government in the country, and the caretaker government headed by Mustafa Al-Kazemi remains.
