Today, Saturday, the General Company for the Automotive and Equipment Industry announced that it has achieved self-sufficiency in the production of tractors and agricultural harvesters, while confirming that it is in the process of preparing the factory dedicated to agricultural sprinklers.
The company's general manager, Dana Saadallah, said, "The company has partnership contracts with two international companies, two companies (Smart Marietta and Splendor of the World), which specialize in the supply of agricultural machinery, and the first is the main agent for New Holland and Volkswagen, which are international companies specialized in the manufacture of pullers and combines."
He added, "As for the second company, there is a partnership contract with it, and it is the official agent for the American company Vale, which is specialized in manufacturing agricultural sprinklers."
On the production method, he explained that “it is carried out through the process of assembling agricultural tractors inside the headquarters of the General Company for the Automobile and Equipment Industry, and we have special workshops for production,” stressing that “the company has achieved 100% self-sufficiency in the production of tractors and agricultural combines, and there is continuous work to prepare the sprinkler laboratories and start their manufacture.” inside Iraq.
He pointed out that "the company is able to supply specialized mechanisms for municipal departments and governorates in general, such as tanks and trailers, in addition to its willingness to supply Rosenbauer brand fire trucks."
