    [size=45]Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani issued several directives to lift the European ban on Iraqi Airways.[/size]
    [size=45]The Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement that Al-Sudani chaired a meeting today, Wednesday, with a delegation from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), to follow up on the steps to lift the ban on Iraqi Airways, which included the Vice President of the Association, Kamel Al-Awadhi, the Director of the Near East and Gulf Region, Muhammad Abash, and the Assistant Director of Safety and Operations for the Middle East and Africa Region, Gerold Tomulka.[/size]
    [size=45]According to the statement, Al-Sudani listened to “an explanation that included the mechanism for lifting the ban imposed on Iraqi Airways in Europe, and the stages of completing the plan within the specified timeframes, in a way that ensures the speedy completion of this important file.”[/size]
    [size=45]The Prime Minister issued “a set of directives to overcome challenges and obstacles, and adopt an administrative organizational structure in order to achieve the requirements of international standards for the work of airlines.”[/size]
