    Information / Baghdad..
The State of Law parliamentary bloc confirmed, on Wednesday, that the House of Representatives will extend its work for the legislative session, indicating that the demand for the extension coincided with the statement of the highest authority in order to provide the best.
Member of the bloc, MP Firas Al-Maslamawi, said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, "The Presidency of the House of Representatives will announce the extension of the work of the House of Representatives for the current legislative session in order to complete the legislation of a number of laws, especially controversial laws."
He added, "The extension is based on the desire of the political blocs, in addition to its coincidence with the statement of the supreme authority, Sayyid Ali al-Sistani, who called for providing the best."
He pointed out that "the Kurdish representatives' preoccupation with the regional elections caused the parliament to be suspended for a not-so-short period."
MP Muhammad Al-Sayhoud confirmed to / Al-Maalouma / that the House of Representatives is required to legislate controversial laws as soon as possible, because the parliament will be busy with the rest of its legislative life discussing and approving the 2025 budget. End /25 AD
