Parliament Speaker Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani stressed, today, Tuesday (November 5, 2024), the importance of the role of the Audit Bureau in combating administrative and financial corruption.
The media office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives said in a statement received by "Baghdad Today", "Al-Mashhadani received, today, Tuesday, the head of the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau, Ammar Subhi Khalaf."
The statement added, "The President of the Financial Supervision Bureau congratulated Al-Mashhadani on his election as Speaker of the House of Representatives, wishing him success in his work.
During the meeting, the Speaker of the House of Representatives pointed out "the importance of the role of the Financial Control Bureau in combating administrative and financial corruption," stressing "the House of Representatives' support for the Bureau in performing its oversight duties and preserving public funds."
