Iraq tops the list of the top 10 importers of Arab products related to construction activity, according to what was announced by the Arab Investment and Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (Dhaman).
The institution said in a statement seen by "Al-Eqtisad News" that "the list of the top 10 importing countries in the region accounted for 58 percent of the total exports of Arab countries of products related to construction activity, worth $34 billion."
She added, "Iraq topped this list as the largest importer, with a value exceeding $9 billion and a share of 16 percent."
The statement of the institution indicated that "the top 10 exporting countries to the region accounted for about 76.4 percent of the total imports of Arab countries of materials related to construction activity, with a value of nearly 88 billion dollars. China topped the list as the largest exporter, with a value exceeding 42 billion and a share of 37 percent of the total."
