    According to data obtained by[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]News, the completion rate in the Faw Port is divided into 5 projects and contracts to establish the port, starting with the docks, the completion rate of which was 31% in October 2022, the road linking the Faw Port and Umm Qasr is 22% completed, the immersed tunnel is 11%, marine excavation and backfilling works are 22%, and the navigation channel is 4%, and in general the total completion rate was 18% in October 2022.



    Now, until October 2024, the construction of the dock structures has reached 100%, the link road 92%, the immersed tunnel 58%, excavation and backfilling works 79%, and the navigation channel 77%, and most of these actual completion rates have exceeded the planned completion rates according to the timetable, and in total, the total completion rate currently reached 81%, meaning that within two years, the equivalent of 5 times the completion rate was completed when the government took over in October 2022.
