Al-Najjar said, "This project will contribute to promoting sustainable development and will provide thousands of jobs and achieve economic resources for national income, praising the efforts that have been made to implement it, and that the authority will work to overcome the obstacles that it can overcome so that this project can see the light."
She added, "The Karbala International Airport project reflects the bright image of the local investor and the Iraqi competencies capable of implementing large investment projects," noting that "this project, sponsored by the Hussainiya Shrine, will directly contribute to facilitating the entry of foreign visitors to the province, especially in the million visits, including the Arbaeen visit.
