Today, Friday, the Ministry of Interior announced the recovery of one of the suspects in the Speicher crime from the Lebanese side.
The ministry said in a statement, "The Interpol police formations in the Arab and International Police Directorate of the Ministry of Interior, and after exceptional effort and intelligence tracking, succeeded in recovering the accused called (A.Y.S), who is accused of the Speicher crime and wanted in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 terrorism from the Lebanese Republic."
She added, "This extradition of one of the accused comes in close cooperation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs / the Iraqi embassy in Lebanon and the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, in coordination with the Lebanese Interpol."
