, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Naeem Al-Aboudi, revealed, on Saturday, that he has delegated a number of his non-exclusive legal powers to deputies, the head of the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority, general managers, university presidents and their councils.
This came when he chaired the meeting of the advanced staffing of the integrated Ministry of Science and Technology, where he emphasized "working in a team spirit and adopting success as a primary goal in the policy steps adopted in institutions of higher education, scientific research, science and technology."
He added that the opportunities and ingredients for success are available in the environment of higher education and its scientific centers and departments, despite the current financial challenges, indicating that the ministry's budget is limited in comparison to its functions and tasks assigned to it to achieve community service in the field of education, research and scientific publishing.
He stressed the activation of the scientific, practical and technical side simultaneously, drawing a clear path for the development of research work, defining a graph of the level of performance in scientific and educational institutions, and benefiting from patents and the outputs of important departments concerned with agricultural research, the environment, water and information technology.
He added that granting non-exclusive legal powers aims to give impetus to direct action, facilitate the administrative system, and ease central procedures. Ended 29 / H
