    The Minister of Culture, Antiquities and Tourism, Ahmed Fakak Al-Badrani, announced, on Tuesday, the inclusion of an article in the agenda of the Executive Office of Arab Ministers of Tourism, stipulating that one of its provinces be the capital of Arab tourism for the year 2025, for ratification at the ministerial meeting.
    Al-Badrani said, in a statement reported by the official newspaper, that "the provinces of Iraq deserve to be capitals of Arab tourism," noting that "Iraq today has opened its arms to the Arab world, and the Arab visitor is no longer worried. Iraq is absolutely safe, and the nature of Arab hospitality and Iraqi generosity is well-known."
    Al-Badrani added, "We have agreed with the responsible authorities in order to facilitate the entry of the Arab tourist, so that he can enjoy all the ancient and religious Iraqi provinces and modern tourism."
    Al-Badrani had held bilateral meetings and discussions with his Arab counterparts from Palestine and Saudi Arabia on the sidelines of the Ministerial Council meetings.
    The meeting discussed a number of topics on the agenda of the 25th session of the Arab Ministerial Council for Tourism, to contribute to activating joint Arab action related to the tourism sector in its various forms, including support for the tourism sector in the State of Palestine, ways to revive the tourism and travel sector in the Arab world and proposed solutions to obstacles. Tourism in the Arab countries suffers from, and the implementation of the strategic plan for sectoral development in Jerusalem 2018/2022, in addition to providing training programs for human resources in the tourism sector in the Arab countries, supporting and developing inter-Arab cooperation in the field of tourism, enhancing the confidence of the Arab tourist, enhancing the quality of tourism education and training in the Arab countries, and a vision Joint Arab tourism action.
