Granting title deeds to more than 13,000 plots of land in the capital of the Kurdistan Region

Shafaq News/ The Minister of Municipalities and Tourism in Kurdistan Region, Sasan Awni, announced, on Sunday, the granting of title deeds to more than 13,000 plots of land in Erbil Governorate, the capital of the region.
This came in a joint press conference held by the minister with the head of the local government in Erbil, Omid Khoshnaw.
Awni said during the conference that the ministry decided to grant title deeds to 13,289 plots of land in Erbil governorate, and to convert its gender from “card” to “tabu,” meaning the pure property.
For his part, the governor expressed, at the same conference, his thanks to the Ministry of Municipalities, Justice, Finance, Agriculture and Water Resources with the General Directorate of Municipalities in Erbil for their cooperation in transferring the gender of those lands from the card to the title deed.
He stressed that within a short period of time, 13,289 plots of land were granted title deeds in Erbil, calling on the owners of those lands to review the municipality directorates to complete their transactions and obtain the title deed.
