    [rtl]Baghdad-Iraq today:[/rtl]
[rtl]A member of the Iraqi Parliament, Basem Khashan, said that the allegations of Iraqi officials regarding reducing dependence on oil are "ink on paper," as he described it.

Last Thursday (December 29, 2022), Salim Rouhana, responsible for sustainable development programs at the World Bank, warned Iraq against relying entirely on oil and the need to move towards other sectors.

Representative Bassem Khashan wrote in a tweet on Twitter, "Iraq still depends on oil only at a rate of more than 90%, and all that is claimed to seek to change this percentage is ink on paper."

Representative Bassem Khashan added in his tweet that "government projects that are written to take into account the constitutional formalities of voting on the government," he said.[/rtl]
