The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan confirmed, today, Saturday, that the party is not represented in the delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government that visits Baghdad, stressing that the only reference for resolving differences is Baghdad.
The leader of the Union, Ghiath Al-Surji, said in a statement transmitted by the reporter (Iraqi Media News Agency / INA) that “the differences between the National Union and the Democratic Party still exist, and there is no official date or specific place for holding a meeting between the two parties and at any level so far, except for statements made by the Democrat on the lips of his leaders.” through the media.”
He added, "The government delegation from the region, which will arrive in Baghdad to understand the budget, does not have any representation by the National Union because of the withdrawal of the Deputy Prime Minister and the Union's ministers in the regional government."
Al-Sorji stressed that “the only reference for resolving differences is Baghdad, and we are still following the approach of the late Mam Jalal.”
