    The Minister of Environment stressed "the importance of strengthening cooperation between the Department of Mine Affairs in the Federal Ministry of the Environment and the General Corporation for Mine Affairs in the Kurdistan Region in order to end the file of mines and war projects resulting from previous wars." , in addition to the exposure of some provinces and cities of the region to the effects of wars against the terrorist gangs of ISIS. “The government is seeking to clean up all the areas affected by these wars in order for the residents of the liberated cities to return to their homes,” he added.
