    The Ministry of Oil has provided the Sulaymaniyah Governorate with a quantity of one million liters of white oil for distribution within its cities, districts, districts and departments, while prices recorded an unprecedented record in the region.
    The deputy head of the Sulaymaniyah Provincial Council, Barzan Sheikh Muhammad, said in a statement reported by the official newspaper that "the processing of white oil was carried out through the Directorate of Distribution of Oil Derivatives in Baghdad," noting that "this quantity will be distributed among poor families within the province and its districts and districts."
    Muhammad added, "The quotas will be distributed at the rate of 439,000 liters to the Sulaymaniyah center, 255,000 liters to the districts and sub-districts, and 56,000 liters to Halabja, while the Rabin administration will receive 170,000 liters and the Garmian administration 76,000 liters," noting that "the district administrators of these departments will handle the distribution process."
    He pointed out that "this quantity will solve a small part of the crisis suffered by the citizens of the region in general and the province of Sulaymaniyah in particular, after the rise in white oil prices to double its previous price, in addition to the fact that the actual need of the region reaches 254 million liters."
    He pointed to "the unprecedented increase in the prices of liquid gas cylinders, as the price of one bottle reached 21,000 dinars, which burdened poor families to provide heating means during the winter season."
    And Muhammad noted that "this share arrived with the end of the distribution of white oil in the mountainous areas, and the start of completing the distribution in the surrounding areas, coinciding with the severe cold wave that the region is going through during the current week."
