On Sunday, OPEC Secretary-General Haitham Al-Ghais expected that the demand for oil this year would exceed pre-pandemic levels, indicating that it could reach about 102 million barrels per day.
He said in a speech during the Egypt Petroleum Show that OPEC is still committed to supporting the stability of the oil market.
He added that demand is expected to rise further to 110 million barrels per day by 2025.[/size]
