Today, Monday, the National Retirement Authority announced the controls for disbursing pension benefits for three categories.
A statement by the authority stated, "In order to adopt a mechanism and controls for disbursement that would simplify procedures for retirees within the campaign launched by the head of the National Retirement Authority, Maher Hussein Rasheed, the disbursement controls were established below to disburse pension dues to the beneficiaries of the families of martyrs and injured victims of terrorism and political prisoners."
He added, "This came to reduce cases of corruption and extortion from the weak-minded," explaining that "the start of implementing exchange controls will be from the meal of March 2023."
The authority called on "retirees to abide by the controls in order not to exploit them from the weak-minded."
