    The electronic passport and electronic visa project for Iraq ranked first in the world, as the best integrated electronic system and success story for the year 2023, through the evaluation conducted by the global Mendex platform.
    This came during the annual conference of the Mendix Global Platform, held in the United Arab Emirates - Dubai on May 8, and was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Interior (Director of the Police Martyrs Fund and his accompanying delegation), and the Iraqi Foreign Ministry (represented by the Iraqi Consul General in Dubai) to talk about the success story. Reviewing the achievements achieved and receiving honors.
    The head of the Iraqi delegation delivered a speech in which he explained the achievements achieved through the electronic passport and electronic visa project, thanked those in charge of the honoring ceremony, and stressed the importance of the partnership and support achieved through the company implementing these two projects (Foq Al-Samaa Company).
    He also received a shield of honor for Iraq, and another shield of honor was presented to representatives of the company implementing these two projects.
    It should be noted that the electronic passport and electronic visa project achieved an advanced and integrated electronic system to digitize procedures from the stages of application, processing, and electronic payment, and contributed to reducing (85%) of routine procedures and eliminating paperwork by (100%). 
    For their part, the attendees expressed their admiration and amazement and praised the technological measures taken by the Iraqi government - the Ministry of Interior, in cooperation with the company implementing the project, in producing a very large, advanced and integrated electronic system characterized by speed, accuracy, and simplification of procedures.
