    a member of the parliamentary legal committee, Wajih Abbas, revealed new details on the amendments in the unified retirement law, stressing that the minimum pension will be 500 thousand dinars.
    Abbas said in an interview: "The pension law, which arrived in the House of Representatives carries the vision of the government only and not amendments made by the parliament and sent to the government last July, as the parliament made 21 amendments, while the government re-law with 12 amendments, and all the articles that benefit Citizens have been completely ignored, which will make the parliament object to this, as it handed the government a complete law at the time mentioned. "
    He added, “Parliament formed a committee consisting of 7 members from the parliamentary legal and financial committees to study the law in full doubt and its amendments received from the government, and the pension director discussed this law,” noting that “the minimum pension will be 500,000 dinars because the Directorate

    He continued, "The new law will include retirees who have 15 years of service, which is the lowest possible service to be referred to the employee to retire, and the age of the employee was set at 45 years if he chose to retire, while the law set the age of 60 years for compulsory referral to the retirement".
    Abbas pointed out that "the law excluded from referral to retirement (anesthesiologists and forensic medicine), in addition to (university professors and those who have a rare competence according to the opinion of the opinion in the Ministry of Higher Education), as well as (the judges and the staff who They have their own law), as they have been excluded (political dismissals), while all exceptions that were granted to the prime minister and his ministers have been canceled. "

    "The committee has met several times and succeeded in finalizing and is ready to vote next week at the latest," he said. "Dozens of laws passed at previous sessions will be amended to suit the new political phase," he said.
     
    In the same vein, the Ministry of Higher Education stressed that "the amendment of the unified retirement law will provide more than 200,000 jobs for young people.
     
    "These grades will be available as a result of reducing the retirement age to 60 years, as well as the opportunity for those wishing to retire at the age of 45 and had 15 years of service, instead of the age of 63," the ministry's information office said in a statement.
     
    "The retirement age for university professors was 65 years of service, and now the new law has been reduced to 63 years, so according to these procedures, more than 200,000 jobs will be provided, including universities and ministry institutions."
