    Today, Thursday, the Parliamentary Legal Committee revealed a close breakthrough and a solution to the problems between the governments of Baghdad and Erbil, while confirming its intention to hold a meeting to amend the provincial elections law.

    He stated that "merging the House of Representatives and the provincial councils will cause confusion," stressing the need to "adopt a stable electoral system that achieves justice and thus prompts the Iraqi voter to participate in the elections and reform the political system."
