    [size=16][size=24]Today, Sunday, the Border Crossings Authority voted on a number of paragraphs, including submitting a recommendation to the office of the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani. 
    A statement by the authority stated that "the Border Crossings Council held its second meeting for the year 2023, headed by Major General Omar Adnan Al-Waeli, and in the presence of the Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhibis Al-Saadawi, and all members of the council." 
    According to the statement, "The Minister of Transport delivered an important speech to the Council on the need to implement government directives in accordance with the ministerial curriculum and to fully comply with government decisions and instructions." 
    The statement drew attention to discussing the agenda and voting on several paragraphs, including the following:[/size][/size]
    1- Immediate implementation of the directive of the Prime Minister, who was notified in the letter of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, which includes the Ministry of Finance / General Authority for Customs preparing transit controls and stopping all measures previously taken by the Ministry of Transport. 
    2- The General Authority for Customs proceeds with the transit according to the directives issued in today's session duly.   
    3- Submitting a recommendation to the Prime Minister's Office regarding the formation of a higher committee to review all levies imposed at all border crossings and audit them from a legal, technical and financial point of view. 
    4- Oblige all ministries and agencies not linked to the Ministry and the governorates to attend the original representative of the Commission's council sessions due to the importance of the decisions taken and based on the Border Crossings Authority law. 
    5- Issuing a recommendation to oblige the State Real Estate Department to conclude lease contracts for offices, shops and kiosks, according to the ownership of the land, and not to be content with receiving the equivalent fee.
