    [rtl]The President of the Republic, Abd al-Latif Jamal Rashid, called for activating the principles of the Non-Aligned Movement to avoid world wars and destruction, stressing that Iraq has made long strides in democracy and construction.[/rtl]
    [rtl]Rashid said in his speech at the Summit of Non-Aligned Countries held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, that "Iraq has finally entered a new phase despite facing long-standing challenges, leaving behind decades of war and destruction in pursuit of its goals For the vision of national development, and today there is a peaceful transfer of power. In Iraq, the concerned political parties are determined to find common ground and build a national consensus.[/rtl]
    [rtl]He added, "After the announcement of the results of the recent elections, the formation of the new Iraqi government took some time, but it yielded fruitful results, as we were able to mobilize support to support the new government to implement its ambitious ministerial program." , including reforming and constructing public infrastructure and addressing the housing and unemployment crisis.We have succeeded in initiating long-term strategic projects such as industrial cities and public transportation, in addition to investing in petrochemical industries.[/rtl]
    [rtl]He continued, "Let me remind ourselves of the Non-Aligned Movement and its principles, which the movement held its first conference in Belgrade in 1961 and included 120 member states and 20 observer states, and the five principles of peaceful coexistence of the Non- Aligned movement is still valid: mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, mutual non-aggression and non-interference. In each other's internal affairs, equality, mutual benefit and peaceful coexistence.[/rtl]
    [rtl] He called for continuing work to "reactivate these principles and to agree to play a constructive role on the international arena in order to achieve these principles and avoid wars and destruction."[/rtl]
