    Today, Wednesday, a spokesman for the Ministry of Planning, Abdul Zahra Al-Hindawi, revealed that the majority of governorates are included in the Cabinet’s decision to establish new housing cities.
    Al-Hindawi said in an interview with the official news agency, which was followed by (Baghdad Today), that "the new residential cities will be integrated, and all services will be available in them, including water, sewage, electricity, schools and health centers, in order to be attractive for housing," noting that "this step will contribute to reducing the momentum that is taking place." In city centers, especially in the capital, Baghdad.
    Al-Hindawi added, "The new cities are not limited to the capital only, but will include most of the provinces, and perhaps all provinces, which will contribute to solving the housing crisis in Iraq," pointing out that "the committee was formed under the chairmanship of the Minister of Construction, Housing and Municipalities, Bankin Rikani, and will study the issue of cities." new in every aspect.
    He explained, "The committee's tasks will be great through the recommendations and tasks set by the Council of Ministers for this committee," adding, "The committee will submit its recommendations to the Council of Ministers, for the purpose of taking appropriate decisions in implementing the government's direction."
    The Council of Ministers, during its session held yesterday, Tuesday, decided the following:
    Firstly
    1- Composing a team headed by the Minister of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, with the membership of each of the Minister of Environment, the Chairman of the Board of Advisers, the Chairman of the National Investment Commission, the Mayor of Baghdad, the Governor of the concerned governorate, the Head of the Legal Department in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, and the Director General of the Regional Development Department / Ministry of Planning .

    2- The New Cities Authority in the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works shall assume the secretariat of this team and has the authority to seek the assistance of whomever it deems appropriate to accomplish its tasks.
    Second: The team undertakes the following tasks:
    Planning, working and supervising the establishment of new cities and creating a vital environment for their success.
