    Baghdad today - Erbil
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan region, Qubad Talabani, confirmed, on Wednesday, that the oil and gas law opens the doors to solve other problems between Erbil and Baghdad, and paves the way for political and security stability and reviving the economy in all of Iraq.
Talabani's media office said in a statement that the latter "received, today, German Foreign Minister Analina Baerbock, and the two sides discussed the region's internal problems and relations between Erbil and Baghdad on the one hand, and between the Kurdistan region and Germany on the other."
He added that "Talabani renewed support during the meeting for the government of Al-Suadni," expressing "hope that the new Iraqi government will be able to prepare the two draft budget and oil and gas bills in the interest of all Iraqis."
And he indicated that "the agreement of the region and Baghdad on the oil and gas law opens the doors to solving other problems between Erbil and Baghdad, and paves the way for political and security stability and reviving the economy in all of Iraq."
In another aspect of the meeting, the two sides discussed, according to the statement, "the political scene in the Kurdistan Region, and the two sides called for resolving political differences through dialogue," while the German minister confirmed that Berlin "supports a unified Kurdistan Region with one discourse," stressing "the need to resolve internal disputes in Territory".
The German minister affirmed that her country "supports the solution of outstanding problems between Erbil and Baghdad," stressing the need for "the two parties to gather strong and solid relations based on the principles of the constitution, in a way that leads to security and political stability and the revival of the economy in all of Iraq."
