Representative Hassan al-Asadi announced today, Friday, the approval of Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi on the plan to revive the marshes within the 2023 budget.
A statement from Hassan al-Asadi’s office stated that “the representative obtained the approval of more than 100 members of the House of Representatives in order to add a plan to revive the marshes to the 2023 budget in order to implement new projects for the people of these oppressed areas that have been subjected to various types of marginalization and exclusion over the past period.”
Al-Asadi stressed, “obtaining the approval of the Speaker of Parliament and the Chairman of the Finance Committee for the purpose of adding this plan within the 2023 budget.”
